Richard Lui

Richard is a licensed individual and couples’ therapist in private practice in the Sacramento, CA area specializing in expressive arts therapy and grief counseling. Over the past twenty years, Richard has appeared in several lead and supporting roles in community theater- his favorite roles being Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof, and Emile de Becque in South Pacific. He is currently in a production of Anne of Green Gables in the Sutter Street Theater in Folsom, CA.

This is Richard’s first film debut playing his true life professional therapist role, in “Mickey’s Tree” and he notes that the “inner child” therapy scene exhibited in “Mickey’s Tree” is the first time it has been shown in and on film.
